Potassium hydroxide is utilised in the manufacturing of agricultural grade fertilisers, which may be used as a potassium source for crops that are sensitive to chloride ions. It is also used in the production of soap, hand soap, alkaline batteries, hair sprays, and shampoos.

• The pH of the soil is adjusted and regulated using potassium hydroxide.
• It is used to make fertilisers by giving potassium to crops, particularly those that cannot tolerate chloride ions.
• It purifies glycerine, allowing it to be used in animal feed.
• It is also used in herbicides and fungicides, and a mixture of phosphorous acid and KOH can be applied regularly to avoid pests and diseases. In practice, crops treated in this manner will have essentially little pesticide residue on them.
• In addition, KOH is used to wash fruit before it is sold or stored.

TIME OF APPLICATION-

• To get the best results from our potassium hydroxide pellets, use them before the beginning of the growing season.
• During the rain or hailstorm, it should be applied in small intervals.

RECOMMENDED USAGE- 

• It is recommended that 2.5 to 5 kg of our potassium hydroxide pellets should be used per cubic yard.
